Notes: Lamb of god did all but the last leg of Slayer’s final tour, and I took the opportunity to shoot them every single night. I have literally thousands of photographs of them from all over the world—I got lots of great shots of Slayer engulfed in massive walls of flame, but this is one of my favorites. The wind worked on the pyro perfectly during this shot, making it look like huge fireballs are shooting towards the stage. This picture looks like the apocalypse to me… kinda like what a good Slayer show felt and sounded like. Fuckin’ SLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYERRRRRR!!!!!
